Helen Flanagan ‘anxious’ about labour

Helen Flanagan is feeling "anxious" about her labour and believes her second child will be born late.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actress is due to give birth today (20.06.18), and is hoping to feel "calmer" because the 27-year-old star feels she "worked [herself] up" before going into labour with her daughter Matilda, who is now two years old.
In an Instagram post last night (19.06.18), she wrote: "I do feel anxious about my labour with my baby now but I’m hoping I’ll feel maybe a little bit calmer this time. For me I felt I worked myself up too much in my head about my labour so I am hoping I can try and focus my mind more x
I think all women feel nervous about their labour as it’s only natural. Just hoping for the safe and healthy arrival of my baby girl and blessed to be able to carry two babies x (sic)"
Despite her labour anxiety with Matilda, Helen admits she had a "positive" experience and her pain was "really managed", partly thanks to having the "kindest, most supportive midwife".
She added: "It’s my due date tommorow Throwback to my birth with my first born
I don’t think my baby girl will arrive tommorow, I was eleven days late with my Matilda
My birth with Matilda was I think all around a positive one. I had a slow labour from having contractions on the Saturday morning and then being induced on the Sunday evening and having Matilda on Monday morning. I ended up having an episiotomy with Matilda but I had the nicest, kindest most supportive midwide and I felt as labours go my pain was really managed. I had an epidural, gas and air and pethidine. (sic)"
Helen has plenty to celebrate at the moment after Matilda’s father Scott Sinclair – who she has been dating since 2009 – popped the question to the actress last month.
Taking to Instagram, the 29-year-old footballer uploaded a photograph of himself down on one knee with a ring in his hand in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland.
He captioned the shot: "She said YES (sic)."
