Finn Wolfhard says Millie Bobby Brown is in ‘high spirts’ after ‘gnarly’ leg injury

Finn Wolfhard revealed Millie Bobby Brown is still in "great spirits" despite her nasty leg injury.
The ‘Stranger Things’ actor has given fans an update on his 14-year-old co-star’s broken knee cap, which stopped her from joining her fellow cast mates on the red carpet at the MTV Movie & TV Awards on Saturday night (16.06.18).
Finn, 15, told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: "She’s in high spirits… it’s a gnarly picture."
Sadie Sink, 16, was also at the event – which will be broadcast on Monday (18.06.18), and sees Millie up for Best Performance on a Show – and suggested that the actress should be on the mend "really soon".
She added: "She’s gonna get better really soon. Unfortunately, she hurt her knee. I think she slipped, it wasn’t on set but she fractured her knee. but she’s getting better."
Meanwhile, Noah Schnapp revealed the young stars have been doing their best to keep Millie in a good mood despite the injury.
He said: "I hope she’s okay. We’ve sent her a lot of videos and cards and stuff."
Their kind words come after their co-star admitted she had never broken a bone before.
She explained in an Instagram video: "Another milestone in my life, I’ve never actually broken a bone.
"I have split my knee cap so from the doctors orders, he told me to rest up and that means I won’t be attending the MTV Awards."
The teenager went on to express her wish that her co-stars have the "best time" at the glamorous event.
She added: "I hope that Finn, Gaten, Caleb, Sadie and Noah have the best time. I love them so dearly and I wish them the best, and I’m sending my luck with you. I’ll be there in spirit."
Last year, Millie – who recently quit Twitter over homophobic memes featuring her photo – picked up the Best Actor in a Show award at the MTV Movie & TV Awards and she’s up for the same accolade this year, as well as Best Kiss.
