Katy Perry partied with Robert Pattinson at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
The ‘Dark Horse’ singer, who split from John Mayer in February, was spotted catching up with the ‘Twilight Saga’ heartthrob at the H&M Loves Music party on Saturday night (12.04.14).
A source told PEOPLE.com that the 29-year-old star met up with the British actor, who was accompanied by a group of pals, in the VIP section, where she sipped on water.
The insider said: "(They) chatted and bobbed their heads along to Major Lazer before Perry eventually disappeared further into the crowd."
Another source said that the newly single beauty, who attended the festival at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California with John last year, "seemed really relaxed and was having a great time."
Katy and Robert have been close friends for years and a friend recently revealed he has been helping her to get over ‘Who You Love’ hitmaker John, 36.
The source told OK! magazine: "Right now, Rob has made her promise to count on him for support, like she did for him when he split from Kristen Stewart.
"They do have a wonderful friendship, and they trust each other. No matter how down she is, Rob can always make her laugh, and she loves that."
