Beyoncé surprises fans at Coachella

Beyoncé Knowles made a surprise appearance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Saturday night (12.04.14).

The ‘Drunk in Love’ hitmaker joined her younger sister Solange Knowles on stage as she performed her hit ‘Losing You.’

Although not listed as an official performer, the 32-year-old star clearly took some time away from her busy schedule to prepare for the show at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California as the siblings performed perfectly synchronised choreography during the song, according to Billboard.com.

Solange, 27, is a regular attendee at the annual three-day festival and also performed the same track last year with The XX.

Meanwhile, Beyoncé’s husband Jay Z also shocked fans by jumping on stage to perform an impromptu rendition of ‘Dead Presidents II’ during his friend Nas’ midnight set.

The 44-year-old rapper then rapped his own track ‘Where I’m From,’ before Nas, 40, continued with his show, which honoured the 20th anniversary of his debut album ‘Illmatic.’

P. Diddy helped him to end his set by stopping by to perform ‘Hate Me Now.’

Selena Gomez, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Vanessa Hudgens, Aaron Paul, Katy Perry and Lea Michele were among the other celebrities spotted at the event.

A second run of the festival will take place next weekend.
