Niall Aslam quits Love Island

Niall Aslam has quit ‘Love Island’.
Alex George will announce to the other Islanders that the 23-year-old construction worker has left the ITV show for "personal reasons" and will not be returning to the programme.
Speaking on tonight’s (12.06.18) show, the doctor says: "For personal reasons unfortunately he can’t continue or come back to the villa.
"I’m obviously sad that Niall’s left the Villa. We got on really, really well.
"He’s such a great guy. And I look forward to catching up with him and having some fun with him outside."
Georgia Steel, who was coupled up with Niall, was also disappointed about the student’s departure.
She said: "Obviously I was coupled up with him so obviously I came closer to him than most people in here but it wasn’t just that. He was actually my friend, my buddy."
Niall went on a date with ‘Love Island’ newcomer Megan Barton Hanson on last night’s (11.06.18) show, which left Georgia fuming.
She said: "I’m fuming. Actually fuming. No one takes my man away, no. I’ve never had competition before and I don’t like it."
Niall initially coupled up with Kendall Rae-Knight on the first day in the villa but he was left devastated when she was stolen by Adam Collard.
However, Niall bounced back by hooking up with Georgia, who enjoyed a date with Charlie Frederick on last night’s show.
Kendall ended up getting ditched from the show when Adam dumped her in favour of newcomer Rosie Williams.
‘Love Island’ airs on ITV2 tonight at 9pm.
