Amy Childs: I feared miscarriage

Amy Childs admits her second pregnancy was a total shock and she feared she may have a miscarriage.
The former ‘Only Way Is Essex’ star is six months pregnant with her second child, after finding out she was expecting again when her daughter Polly was just eight-months old, and she has admitted she was terrified of losing the baby.
Amy, 28, told OK! Magazine: "It was a really big shock. A little bit of me thought because it happened so soon after having Polly that I might have a miscarriage, as it’s happened to a lot of my friends.
"But I tried to be positive and thought if this happens then it’s meant to be.
"It’s overwhelming thinking about how quickly it happened, but now I truly believe it’s meant to be. It took me so long to have Polly. I cried every time I came on my period because I wanted a baby so much."
Amy announced her second pregnancy in March, just 11 months after welcoming her first child with ex-boyfriend Bradley Wright.
Despite having given birth to Polly, Amy admitted she is really nervous about doing it all again.
She said: "I want to do it naturally but I’m not ruling out an epidural. I’d never choose a Caesarean and I’d never have a home birth. Sam [Faiers] asked me if I’d have one as she’s had two and I was like: ‘Absolutely not!’ I’m too much of a worrier."
Polly is now 14-months-old and with another baby on the way Amy insisted she is in no rush to marry secret boyfriend Ritchie.
She said: "We’ve got the baby coming first, so I’ll let you know after that! We’ll see. There’s no rush."
Ritchie is described as a "high-flying businessman" and Amy is pleased with his decision to stay out of the spotlight.
She said: "He has a good job and he just doesn’t want to be involved,’ she said. ‘He tells me: "I love Polly and I’ll love the newborn, but I don’t want to be a part of it," and I have to respect that.
"With Ritchie, it’s so refreshing to be with someone like that. I’ve had boyfriends who’ve been fame hungry, so it’s nice to keep it separate."
