Ireland’s Got Talent arrives on 5Star

The first ever series of ‘Ireland’s Got Talent’ is airing now on UK television.
The latest spin-off in the hugely successful talent show franchise debuted on TV3 earlier this year, and the programme is now being shown every week for viewers in the UK.
The hit series has been snapped up by digital television channel 5Star, and is currently airing every weeknight.
For the first series – which ran from February to March in Ireland – Louis Walsh took his place on a judging panel featuring Denise Van Outen, Michelle Visage and Jason Byrne.
The show boasted a range of hopefuls who applied and auditioned for the competition, including dancer Zacc Milne, drag queen Paul Ryder and singing sensation Evelyn Williams.
Viewers are bound to be impressed by dance troupe RDC, who went on to win the talent show.
The exciting news will help fill a void for fans, as the latest season of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ came to an end on Sunday (03.06.18) with Lost Voice Guy being crowned the winner.
The 37-year-old comedian – whose real name is Lee Ridley – took home the top prize, with fellow comedian Robert White taking second place.
Speaking after he won, he said: "I have been blown away by the support of the judges and the general public. I’ve got so much love for everyone and I’m really grateful for it all. I’m very excited to get to perform for the Queen. I’ve loved her since she sang ‘Bohemian Rhapsody.’ "
The judges then took to the stage to congratulate Lost Voice Guy, with Simon Cowell adding: "To you, you so deserve this. I’m so happy."
