Dani Dyer has already grown close to one of the ‘Love Island’ lads after impressing him by revealing who her dad is.
The 22-year-old daughter of ‘EastEnders’ actor Danny Dyer has started to get up close and personal to Jack Fincham, and as they were chatting she wasted no time in spilling all about her famous father, much to the delight of the 26-year-old sales manager.
On tonight’s (04.06.18) first episode of the new series, Dani says: "I’ve always wanted to do acting. My dad’s an actor. Having that in your family, when you’re on set, it was weird for me, being brought up with it, I thought, ‘I like this.’ "
After Jack asks who her father is, she replies: "My dad … let’s just get it out the way. My dad’s Danny Dyer."
Jack says afterwards: "When Dani told me that her dad’s Danny Dyer, I just thought ‘What?’ I’m not going to lie to you, I love him as an actor."
Despite being concerned about Jack doing impressions of her ‘Football Factory’ star father, she was pleasantly surprised by his "nice reaction".
She says: "I had to bring up my dad, I knew sooner or later that I would mention who my dad was. And it was actually a really nice reaction.
"Usually boys get a little bit … they start getting all ‘gangster’ and they start quoting films. He didn’t quote one quote and I thought, ‘Thank god for that.’ "
Following their chat about Danny and despite meeting just hours beforehand, Jack reveals he really likes Dani "a lot".
He says: "First impressions of Dani, she’s really pretty. She’s really easy to get on with. I think she’s lovely. Where we’re quite similar.
"I just felt instant … not awkward, I can talk to her, have a good chat. Again you just don’t know. I really like her. I fancy her.
"I really like Dani, I do. Honestly, just talking to her. I get too emotional too quickly. When I like someone I don’t really hide it. I just want to talk to them, and I want to be with them. I think she’s really nice, I think Dani’s really nice and I like her a lot."
Dani is also a big fan of the hunk, but she isn’t too sure about his teeth.
She says: "I like his personality, but with the trainers, the hair … I thought, ‘You’ve done it again, Dan’. My mates would go to me, ‘What are you doing Dan?’
"His teeth are really white though, they are so white."
Smooth talker Jack has already hatched a plan of how Dani can remember him outside of the villa.
He adds: "To be fair I’m going give Dani a lifetime’s supply of highlighters so that when she’s learning her lines for her acting, she’s going to think of me … she can’t forget me then can she?"
