John Mayer: Andy Cohen is ‘special’

John Mayer has praised Andy Cohen as a "special person".
The 40-year-old musician took to Instagram on Saturday (02.06.18) to post a tribute to the ‘Watch What Happens Live’ host in honour of his 50th birthday, where he said he "couldn’t find" the words to describe his close pal.
Posting a picture of the pair inside an elevator, John wrote: "Happy 50th Birthday @bravoandy! It’s been about 30 minutes since I started writing this caption. Congratulations, I have no words. You’ve done it. Can’t find em right now. They’re all scattered in a flurry of love and memories OH HERE THEY COME – in conclusion, I love you, and you are such a special person that I’m sure you are known throughout the universe. See you tonight (sic)"
The sweet post comes after Andy paid tribute to his own birthday when he wrote "allegedly I’m 50 today" alongside a photo of himself walking his dog in the West Village neighbourhood of New York City.
Meanwhile, the two pals aren’t shy about gushing over one another on social media, as Andy previously shared a similar message on social media in October when the ‘Gravity’ singer turned 40.
At the time he wrote: "This right here is an ELECTRIC COWBOY! They only made one @johnmayer. We are lucky to have him. Happy Birthday. #JM40. (sic)"
John celebrated his milestone last year by whisking several of his close friends, including Andy, away to Brazil, and on a second Instagram post dedicated to the musician, Andy praised the "magical" country.
He wrote: "One final salute to @johnmayeras we put a bow around our Celebration of 40 Years of Excellence. My heart is busting out with a whole lotta feels after an experience of a lifetime. Brazil is Magic and so are you, JM. #JM40 (sic)"
