Paul McCartney has ‘fun’ breaking the rules of songwriting

Sir Paul McCartney says he’s still writing songs with the same rule‑dodging, wide‑eyed mischief he had as a teenager.

Drake fires back at Kanye West and Pusha-T

Drake has fired back at Kanye West and Pusha-T after their song ‘Infrared’ seemed to imply he’d used ghost writers.
The 31-year-old rapper appeared to be targeted in the tune, with one verse claiming: "Your hooks did it, the lyrics pennin’ equals to Trump’s winnin’. The bigger question is how the Russians did it. It was written like Nas but it came from Quentin."
Now, Drake has hit back with fiery diss track ‘Duppy Freestyle’, in which he seems to address the claims and pass some judgements of his own.
He raps: If you rebuke me for working with someone else on a couple of V’s, what do you really think of the n***a that’s making your beats?
"I’ve done things for him, I thought that he never would need. Father had to stretch his hands out and get it for me."
He also appeared to nod towards the publicity the spat would drum up for Pusha-T’s new album ‘DAYTONA’, which was produced by Kanye.
Drake later says: "Tell ‘Ye we got an invoice comin’ to you, considering we just sold another 20 for you."
Pusha-T’s latest record has already made waves after Kanye, 40 was slammed by Whitney Houston’s cousin for using a photograph of the late star’s bathroom full of drug paraphernalia as its artwork.
He paid $85,000 for the shocking image – which was secretly taken by Whitney’s sister-in-law Tina Brown in 2006 – but Whitney’s family are not happy.
Damon Elliott, whose mother is Dionne Warwick, said he only heard about the planned use of the image when his daughter told him.
He explained to PEOPLE: "She was frantic. She sent me this picture from the album cover and I immediately got sick to my stomach because it took me right back to six years ago.
"I was actually in shock because I’m in the music business.
"I’ve watched the train wreck happening, but I didn’t think he’d go this far in invading someone’s family privacy.
"To do something for a publicity stunt to sell records, it’s absolutely disgusting. It hurt my family and my daughter. It’s petty. It’s tacky."
