Catherine Tyldesley’s wasp interruption

Catherine Tyldesley’s live video link on ‘This Morning’ nearly descended into chaos when a "giant" wasp flew into shot.
The 34-year-old actress was appearing on the brunch time show with co-stars Lucy Fallon, Jack P. Shepherd and Nicola Thorp earlier today (20.05.18) when the ill-mannered hornet attempted to crash their chat, but the quartet remained unflustered about the insect interruption.
Catherine wrote on Instagram afterwards: "Just glad we stayed chilled when a giant wasp flew into shot @lucyfallonx @jackpshepherd88 @missnicolathorp (sic)"
The cobbles star – who plays Eva Price in the ITV soap – also congratulated Jack (David Platt) for "behaving" during the live link with ‘This Morning’ co-hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
She added: "#cathscloset friends – Weatherfield Massive … well done for behaving Jack… just (sic)"
During the chat, Catherine opened up about her forthcoming departure from the soap, admitting Eva will not be killed off.
She said: "I’m a bit emotional.
"I’ve been here seven years but there’s loads of juicy stuff before I go guys, so stay tuned.
"The door is being left open. We’ll see what happens.
"I love it here, it’s been my home for seven years. I spend more time here than my actual home."
But Catherine remained tight-lipped about whether Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) is going to let slip to her man Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) that their baby is in fact Eva’s kid.
She said: "I can’t tell you anything."
Catherine has been involved in some emotional scenes of late after he ex Aidan Connor – played by Shayne Ward – took his own life, and she hopes the hard-hitting plot will save lives in real life.
She wrote on Instagram: "Here’s hoping that the work that yourself and our wonderful #corrie team have put into this weeks episodes get people talking and help save lives. #itsoktotalk #mentalhealthawareness help is there – and hope is ALWAYS in your heart – no matter how cloudy …@samaritanscharity @calmzone (sic)"
