Mel B up for X Factor return

Mel B is keen to return to ‘The X Factor’.
The Spice Girls singer would "love" to be back on the programme, but has admitted she would have to check her schedule before committing to the series should Simon Cowell ask her to reprise her judging role.
Mel – who was a panellist on the show in 2014’s 11th series – said: "I love doing ‘X Factor’ and I love the UK so if that opportunity came up and I had time to do it, then yeah."
Despite predominantly living in Los Angeles, Mel admitted the commute wouldn’t pose much of a problem if she were to return to the show.
Speaking to the Mirror Online, she added: "I mean I come back here so often for work, my base is LA and my kids go to school in LA so I’ve been there for most of [Phoenix’s] childhood, 15 years."
Mel has plenty of ‘X Factor’ experience having been a judge in series 11 alongside Simon, Louis Walsh and Cheryl, and she was also a guest panellist in series nine and 13.
What’s more, she has been a judge on the Australian version of the show on seasons three, four and eight, as well as standing in as a guest in series two.
Mel has also judged ‘America’s Got Talent’ since 2013’s eighth season.
This comes after Louis admitted Mel could be an ideal replacement for Nicole Scherzinger, should she not reprise her role on the panel, but he doesn’t want her Spice Girls bandmate Victoria Beckham – aka Posh Spice – to land a job on the show.
He said: "I honestly don’t know [who will fill Nicole’s shoes]. Mel B maybe or Rita Ora? I like Beyonce’s sister Solange. I have no idea.
"It could be anybody from Little Mix. It could be anybody from the Spice Girls – except Posh. She does not talk. I want somebody who is fun."
