Kem Cetinay grew up thanks to Love Island

Kem Cetinay credits ‘Love Island’ for making him "grow up".
The 22-year-old reality star shot to fame when he won the show with then-partner Amber Davies last summer and he admitted having eyes on him at all time boosted his confidence and made him more aware of his behaviour.
He said: ""I think ‘Love Island’ built my confidence as you’re completely exposed and everyone is watching in so many different ways,"
"You receive backlash and positive comments, which makes you grow up. It’s changed our lives, we’re doing things we’ve dreamed of, it’s an amazing experience and we’re grateful for everything."
While Kem’s romance with Amber ended a few months after they won the show, his bromance with fellow Islander Chris Hughes has endured and his pal would encourage anyone to take part on the show.
But Chris warned hopefuls that the key to doing well on the programme is to be natural.
Discussing advice he has for the contestants, he said: "Go in and be yourself, it’s a great opportunity to experience what it’s like. I’d say just remain upbeat. You’re on there because you pitched yourself, so just be yourself!"
Chris and Kem have recently returned from a lavish holiday in Mexico to the All Inclusive Azul Beach Resort the Fives, By Karisma, as part of their roles as First Choice’s Braggage Handlers.
And during the holiday, the pair went head-to-head in a number of challenges, including cocktail making, head massaging and synchronised swimming.
