Paddy McGuinness ‘excited’ about future with Christine

Paddy McGuinness is "excited" about the future with his wife Christine.
The ‘Take Me Out’ host hit the headlines a few months ago when it was claimed his marriage was on the rocks, but he has admitted they are stronger than ever now and has heaped praise on his spouse for the way she raises their three children, two of which have autism.
Speaking to OK! magazine, the 44-year-old presenter said: "She’s beautiful on the outside but she’s even more beautiful on the inside, trust me. What she does for our kids is amazing.
"The first time I met Christine I thought, my God, she’s absolutely stunning! But we got on straight away and it was more than looks.
"Every day we are learning how to cope better. We’re excited for the future. There are days when it’s horrendous and there are other days when it’s mega fantastic."
And, although they’re enjoying parenthood, Paddy wants nothing more than for his kids Leo and Penelope, four, and Felicity, 18 months, to be able to live independently.
He explained: "All I want is for my kids to grow up being independent," he explained. "I couldn’t give a toss what they do as a job, I just want them to have their independence. Every parent worries about their kids, but with our three it’s a different ball game altogether."
Christine – who married Paddy in 2011 – previously confessed to "blaming herself" after she and Paddy found out their twins, Leo and Penelope, have autism.
The 30-year-old model said: "I blamed myself. I thought it must be my fault because they’ve only ever been with me; I didn’t even let my husband look after them. Felicity can’t be diagnosed until she’s three and she could be copying the twins’ mannerisms, but even at six months old she was tensing her body when she was excited. She walks on tiptoes and she does a flapping arm movement when she’s happy or excited. These are common signs."
