Peaky Blinders gets more episodes

‘Peaky Blinders’ is to return for at least two more series.
Creator Steven Knight is currently writing the fifth season of the gangster drama and he’s revealed Cillian Murphy and his co-stars will definitely be back for a sixth run, and a seventh is highly likely too.
He told the Birmingham Press Club: "We are definitely doing [series] six and we will probably do seven.
"We’ve talked to Cillian Murphy and he’s all for it, and the rest of the principal cast are in for it."
And that’s not the only plans in store for the Shelby family, as Steven revealed Rambert dance company are keen to produce a ballet version of the 1930s drama.
He said: "I had a meeting with Ballet Rambert who want to do Peaky Blinders – The Ballet. I’m saying ‘Why not?’
"I wasn’t supposed to say anything about it, but I don’t mind talking about things."
While Paul Anderson and Helen McCrory are expected to join Cillian – whose character, Tommy Shelby, was elected MP for Birmingham at the end of the fourth series – in the fifth season of the show, Tom Hardy won’t be back as his scene-stealing alter ego Alfie Solomons, as his character was killed off in the last run of episodes.
And it was previously revealed Tom was reluctant to leave the show, while his departure came as a shock to the rest of the cast.
His co-star Paul – who plays Arthur Shelby in the drama – previously said "I didn’t know that was coming. We were unsure… there was a whole thing about whether or not Alfie would live or die, or get shot or not. It was up for debate and discussion. I know that Tom didn’t want to go. So there was this whole thing."
Steven has previously said he is keen for the show to end with air raid sirens signaling in the beginning of World War II.
