Dom Parker couldn’t stomach I’m a Celebrity

Dom Parker would never go on ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’ – because he would "probably die" if he did.
The 53-year-old former ‘Gogglebox’ star – who appeared on the Channel 4 programme alongside his wife Steph from 2013 until 2016 – participated in the second series of ‘The Jump’, but would reject the chance to appear on the ITV show, admitting he wouldn’t be able to consume critters in the Bushtucker Trials.
Dom explained: "I can’t do rice and beans, I could do rice but then I’ll probably die, and I would be the bloke that goes on the challenge, gets the big bowl of worms or the spaghetti bolognese and I’d go, ‘Stuff em! I’ll have the spaghetti bolognese.’
"And therefore I would get huge and I’d get all the challenges, become enormous, everyone else would get completely skinny and die and I would be hated by the world over."
Stephanie also doesn’t fancy appearing on the show, because she would have to take a shower in front of the nation.
The former ‘Gogglebox’ star would rather decline the opportunity than appear in next-to-nothing in front of a TV audience of millions.
Asked about the prospect having to wear a bikini to take a shower, Steph – who runs a bed and breakfast alongside her husband – told talkRADIO: "You see, another reason why I wouldn’t do it – who needs to see that?"
