Graham Norton warns of budget Eurovision

Graham Norton has warned viewers to expect a "budget" ‘Eurovision Song Contest’.
The TV presenter hosts the UK’s BBC coverage of the annual singing competition – which is due to begin in Lisbon, Portugal next week – and believes Brexit will have an effect this year.
Graham told the Mirror newspaper: "I think it is going to be a very different Eurovision.
"I think the staging is going to be much simpler, much more pared back, it is not going to be the huge LCD screens we have seen for the last few years.
"Lisbon, they don’t have money, so this is austerity Eurovision. It is totally Eurovision on a budget."
Portugal will host the contest this year after claiming their first ever victory in 2017 with their song ‘Amar Pelos Dois’, performed by Salvador Sobral.
Last year, Portuguese broadcast chief Goncalo Reis said the 2018 ceremony – which will take place in Lisbon’s Altice Arena – would be the "cheapest ever".
BBC Four will broadcast both live semi-finals on May 8 and May 10, with the Grand Final airing on BBC One on Saturday, May 12.
SuRie has been chosen to represent the UK this year.
The former ‘Les Miserables’ star has admitted it’s an "honour" to compete in the singing competition on behalf of the country after she fought off stiff competition from five other acts to win over the public and an expert jury panel with her song ‘Storm’.
This isn’t the first time SuRie – whose real name is Susanna Cork – has been involved in the major competition as she acted as a backing dancer for the Belgian act Loic Nottet in 2015, but has admitted it has "always" been a dream to represent the UK.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "Yes, in 2015, I was the girl on the floor kicking her legs up in the air like a dead beetle.
"It was a little dream to represent the UK but it was not something that I thought was possible. As soon as I went to Vienna and saw ‘Eurovision’ it blew my mind."
