Calum Best is reportedly "really annoyed" with Stephanie Davis after she implied they were dating.
The former ‘Hollyoaks’ actress – who has 15-month-old son Caben with her ex-boyfriend Jeremy McConnell – set tongues wagging last week when she referred to the heavily-inked hunk as her "husband" and her "dream" while they were on a fitness retreat in Marbella, Spain.
But the 37-year-old reality TV star is said to be furious that Stephanie, 25, has created the situation because he doesn’t fancy her and would "never date her" because he doesn’t to associate with her.
A source told The Sun Online: "Calum is really annoyed at Steph for creating this situation – he doesn’t fancy her at all. He’s been really wound up by all the over the top posts she’s been uploading, there’s clearly no romance whatsoever.
"He would never date her and really doesn’t want to be associated with her in that way."
The brunette beauty sent fans into overdrive when she uploaded a photograph of her and Calum – who happened to be topless – lounging together on a yacht and captioned it with a heart emoji.
She wrote: "My Chicken. Feeling great."
Stephanie then shared a video of Calum emerging from the pool with his abs on display.
She wrote: "Yeah this is for girls I know U will appreciate this as much as me.
"He’s a dream. How fit is my husband. (sic)"
The pair had been staying at The Holistic Bootcamp – which Dan Osborne was running – alongside a handful of other celebrities as they focused on getting into shape, eating well and mental health.
Speaking about her decision to do the retreat, which is run by Robert Hisee, Stephanie said: "Rob has really helped me move forward in my personal life.
"This is why I have signed up for the retreat this April. I am excited to be able to progress my journey by making a positive change in my life and gain a different mind-set."
