Jennifer Lopez’s proud family

Jennifer Lopez’s sister "couldn’t be more proud" of her.
The ‘If You Had My Love’ hitmaker performed at the TIME 100 Gala in New York City on Tuesday (24.04.18), where she was joined by her boyfriend Alex Rodriguez, mother Guadalupe Rodriguez and sister Lynda Lopez and the family were thrilled she’d been named one of TIME magazine’s 100 most influential people.
Lynda shared a photo of them all on the red carpet and wrote on Instagram: "Couldn’t be prouder of how amazing this one was at the #Time100 gala!!! #lovemysis #shelooksamazing #andsoundedevenbetter!! (sic)"
And Alex also thought his 48-year-old girlfriend’s inclusion on the annual list was "well-deserved".
Speaking on the red carpet at the Lincoln Center ahead of the event, he gushed: "It is awesome. It is well-deserved, and she’s going to perform tonight in her hometown of New York City. Pretty awesome."
The 42-year-old former baseball ace was also pleased to be out with Jennifer’s family.
He also used Instagram to share a picture of them together and he captioned the post: "Shoulder to shoulder with some truly strong women. #Time100.(sic)"
Jennifer admitted her inclusion on the list was humbling.
The ‘On The Floor’ hitmaker – who has 10-year-old twins Max and Emme from her third marriage to Marc Anthony – previously said: "It really is an honour. And I love that it’s in New York. Whenever I come to New York, I always feel like it takes me back to the beginning, to the Bronx and everything. And then to be here and be honored tonight, I’m humbled. I really am. It’s an incredible acknowledgement."
Alex also took to the stage to congratulate his girlfriend and gushed about how great it was to see that Jennifer is "gorgeous" on the inside and out.
Speaking in support of his partner, he said: "I’m so flattered to be sitting here kind of in the bullpen, in the bleachers, talking about the Bronx, just kinda watching her. She’s getting everything she deserves, and it’s just really, really nice to see,
"It is so great that I get to see how gorgeous she is on the inside and the outside on a night like tonight.
"[It’s] such a special night in New York City. I’m just happy to see her get her due. It’s gonna be an awesome night."
