Gemma Oatenn split with her boyfriend ‘a few months ago’

Gemma Oaten split up with her boyfriend "a few months ago."
The ‘Holby City’ actress has confirmed that she and her partner Scott Walker – whom she’s been dating for over a year – have decided to go their separate ways.
She tweeted: "To clarify a few things. My past relationship ending wasn’t over recently, it’s been more than a few months. I tried to keep it out of the press out of care and respect. Sadly in this industry it wasn’t to be. Much love. Gemma xxx (sic)"
The 33-year-old star is now said to be dating theatre star Stuart Earp, 30, and, although it’s still "early days", they are "getting on like a house on fire."
A source told the Mirror Online: "It’s very early days bit she is very happy. They have been on a couple of dates. Stuart is charming and they are getting on like a house on fire."
Gemma’s decision to get back out there on the dating scene will no doubt come as a surprise to fans as just last year she said she had been sworn off romance after her brief relationship with the ‘DIY SOS’ presenter Nick Knowles – which ended when he reportedly dumped her to reconcile with his estranged wife – left her feeling "burned."
She said recently: "It was weird.
"It was very eggy and it did put me off dating. I’ve been a little bit burned and now is the time for me to be a little bit selfish and look after me. It’s not been easy. I saw him at the National Television Awards and you could cut the atmosphere with a knife. But I’m OK now. And if he’s all right that’s brilliant. I genuinely don’t wish him any ill will.
"I actually wish I could see him and talk to him about it. But that will never happen."
