James Corden to help reboot The Wrong Mans in US

‘The Wrong Mans’ is being rebooted in the US with James Corden and Mathew Baynton helping to adapt the script.
The pair starred in, produced and penned the British comedy, which ran for two series on BBC Two from September 2013 to December 2014, and now the pals are involved in bringing the much-loved show to a new audience across the pond.
According to Variety, Showtime has given the go-ahead for a pilot production for the adaptation.
The plot will follow the story of two office workers, who are told: "If you are not here by five o’clock, we will kill your wife."
While it turns out to be a big mix-up and it’s not actually their loved ones in trouble, they have to find it within themselves to save the town they live in.
Ben Schwartz – who is best known for portraying Jean-Ralphio on ‘Parks and Recreation’ – is reportedly set to star in one of the main roles and take on producing duties.
James and Mathew will co-write the script with Ian Maxtone-Graham, who is known for his work on ‘The Simpsons’.
‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ director J.J. Abrams, Ben Stephenson and Jim Field Smith will executive produce along with Corden, Baynton and Graham.
Jim, who helmed the original series, will also direct the pilot.
J.J.’s Bad Robot Productions is set to produce along with James’ Fulwell 73 Productions and BBC Worldwide in association with Warner Bros.
Both James and Mathew also starred in the original series, which ran for a total of 10 episodes.
