Khloe Kardashian’s daughter’s name is inspired by her relatives.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star’s mother Kris Jenner has revealed just why Khloe opted for the unusual moniker of True for her little girl, who she welcomed into the world last week.
Alongside a picture of pink balloons, she wrote on Instagram: "I’m so excited to welcome my precious little granddaughter True!!! FUN FACT… my Grandfather’s name on my Dad’s side was True Otis Houghton….my Dad’s name was Robert True Houghton…so i am so excited Khloe named her daughter True!!! #lovebug #familytradition #family @true (sic)"
Khloe took to social media on Tuesday to announce the name she and her partner Tristan Thompson had chosen for their newborn daughter.
She wrote on Instagram: "Our little girl, True Thompson, has completely stolen our hearts and we are overwhelmed with LOVE. Such a blessing to welcome this angel into the family! Mommy and Daddy loooooove you True! (sic)"
Soon after the baby’s arrival, a source revealed Khloe is "consumed with love" for her baby.
The insider shared: "Khloe is feeling nothing but happiness right now. She is head over heels in love with her little girl – she is just consumed with love. Absolutely nothing else matters. She’s so incredibly happy that her baby is here, that she is big and strong and healthy and beautiful, and so right now Khloe truly has no other cares in the world. She isn’t even mad at Tristan right now."
