Scarlett Moffatt doesn’t think she’s a celebrity

Scarlett Moffatt doesn’t think of herself as a celebrity.
The former ‘Gogglebox’ star has seen her career go from strength to strength since she won ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ in 2016, landing a presenting role on ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ but she insists she hasn’t changed.
She told Closer magazine: "I don’t think of myself in that way. I’m just me. I work really hard at what I do, and I try to always be nice and be myself.
"Being part of a big Saturday night TV show is amazing but I’m still the same old me – I love sitting on the sofa in my trackie bottoms watching telly with my family."
The 27-year-old presenter also admitted she’s keen to take her career in a new direction in the future.
She said: "I’d like to continue doing live TV but I also love documentaries. My dad always says, ‘if you don’t know your history, you can’t know your future’ and I’d love to do some history documentaries.
"I’m really interested in the suffragette movement so that is something I’d be keen on exploring."
But for now, Scarlett is happy with her job on ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ as she’s learning so much from hosts Ant and Dec.
She said: "I’ve learnt so much from Ant and Dec. They always say to just have fun, and it’s so true. If you’re having fun, then it comes across and hopefully everyone at home has fun too.
"Last series, Cat Deeley was on the show so that was a real pinch myself moment.
"They are the best at what they do – I love being a part of it."
