Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank have sent handwritten thank you cards to their fans.
The engaged couple – who are to marry later this year – have delighted their supporters by putting pen to paper to thank people who congratulated them on their big announcement last month, rather than send typed out notes.
They wrote in one card: "We are so grateful for your lovely message congratulating us on our engagement.
"We are so happy and excited and look forward to 2018 being a very special year for us.
"Thank you for thinking of us, Eugenie and Jack."
The inside of the card featured Eugenie’s royal logo, a gold crown with a capital E underneath, a similar design to the one Duchess Catherine, who opts for a C, uses for royal correspondence.
Eugenie and Jack’s card featured a picture of them from their engagement photocall on the front and was sent in an envelope which carried her gold E on the front.
The 27-year-old princess’ mother Sarah recently admitted she was delighted the pair are to wed.
A picture posted on her Twitter account read: "A total embrace of goodness and joy. We love Jack and I am so excited to have a son, a brother and a best friend. Eugenie is one of the finest people I know and so together it will be pure harmony."
The post was captioned: "Total joy!! #engagement @TheDukeOfYork (sic)"
Jack popped the question in front of a volcano on a recent holiday to Nicaragua, seven years after they met while skiing with friends.
Following the news, his parents George and Nicola said in a statement: "We could not be more delighted with the news of the engagement. We are completely over the moon and are very excited for them both."
