Pete Wicks is reportedly dating a girl he met through a competition.
The ‘Only Way is Essex’ star was rumoured to be growing close to Love Island’s Amber Davies following his split from Megan McKenna last year, but it looks like he’s found someone else who makes his heart skip beats as he’s asked to take Elisha – a 23-year-old girl who won a date with the hunk through the clothes website I Saw It First – out again after they hit it off the first time he treated her to dinner and drinks.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "They had a visible chemistry and confirmed on the night that they would be going out again."
His determination to get to know Elisha comes just days after him and Amber – who were spotted kissing on numerous occasions – unfollowed each other on social media.
An insider said recently: "Pete doesn’t want to get into a relationship right now after he got his heart broken by Megan [McKenna], so even though Amber seems keen on taking things further, he doesn’t want to get her hopes up. They’ve got mutual friends, so he doesn’t want to be rude, but he doesn’t want to start dating her either. He’s dating other women too – he’s having a good time being single and seeing lots of girls … He’s wary of getting into another public relationship after how things ended with Megan."
The 29-year-old heartthrob was left heartbroken last year when his on/off relationship with the ‘A Far Cry From Love’ hitmaker broke down following allegations that she had been back in touch with her ex-boyfriend while she was still dating Pete.
But, although only a few months have passed since their separation, Megan, 25, is now said to be dating Love Island’s Michael ‘Muggy Mike’ Thalassitis after he whisked her off to Amsterdam, The Netherlands, for Valentine’s Day (14.02.18).
