Prince William gets back on a bike

Prince William tested out a 1200cc Triumph motorbike when he visited the factory in Hinckley, Leicestershire, on Tuesday (20.02.18).
The Duke of Cambridge surprised the nation when he put on leathers and a helmet to ride the brand new state of the art cycle, after admitting last year he was putting his love for motorbikes "on the back-burner".
The 35-year-old royal honoured triple World Superbike champion Jonathan Rea with an MBE in November, when he told the star about his passion for motorbikes, which he had put on hold because of his growing brood.
Speaking about the Prince – who has four-year-old son Prince George, two-year-old Princess Charlotte, and is expecting his third child with his wife Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge – Jonathan said: "I know he’s a bit of a motorcycle fan himself. We talked about his bikes and the fact that he has put it on the back-burner a little bit because of his children now."
Along with his 33-year-old brother Prince Harry, William has been a keen biker from a young age, and had previously been known to own bikes including a 1199cc Ducati.
In 2008, the royal brothers took part in a motorcycle rally across Africa to raise money for a variety of charities including Sentebale, which was jointly founded by Harry.
Catherine will be hoping it was just a one-off spin, as she previously admitted she is filled with "horror" when her husband goes biking, and admitted she will be doing everything in her power to stop her young son George getting hooked on bikes.
She said: "He’s still riding it. It always fills me with horror when he goes out on it‎. I’m terrified. Hopefully, I’m going to keep George off it."
