Simon Cowell has had a burst in creativity since the birth of his son.
The music mogul welcomed his first child Eric with girlfriend Lauren Silverman into the world in February and he’s confessed that slowing down on the business front is the last thing on his mind.
He said: "I’m not going to calm down with work! I’ve got the bug again and I just want to get things going with ‘The X Factor’.
"I’m excited about work again, which is a great feeling. Eric has been a big part of that. Having a child gives you perspective and it sparks new ideas and creativity."
The 54-year-old ‘X Factor’ boss – who will return as a judge on the UK talent show later this year – has also admitted that he hasn’t been losing any sleep since the birth of his son as he has great help.
He added: "I’m coping really well. We’ve got a great baby nurse. Eric is a sweetheart and he’s no trouble at all. He’s not been keeping me up at night. He’s honestly been as good as gold. I feel more relaxed since becoming a father. He’s definitely relaxed me."
