Russell Crowe doesn’t want his sons to see him in another relationship.
The ‘Noah’ star is reluctant to strike up a romance with someone because he doesn’t think it’s fair Charles, 10, and Tennyson, seven, whom he shares with ex-wife Danielle Spencer, have his love-life flaunted in their faces.
Speaking on the ‘Graham Norton Show’ last night (04.04.14), he said: "I have the responsibility of my two boys and I don’t want them thinking anything other than their mum is the most perfect woman in the world.
"I don’t want them to see me in another relationship with someone who is not their mother. It’s not something I need or want them to have to deal with at the moment."
The 49-year-old actor split up from Danielle in 2012 after nine years of marriage and, although he was initially determined to rekindle his relationship with the blonde beauty, he has since been linked to a number of stars.
It was reported two years ago that Russell had started dating Billy Joel’s ex-wife Katie Lee after the pair were spotted canoodling in front of a romantic fireplace in the Drawing Room of New York’s Greenwich Hotel.
However, the star took to Twitter soon after the rumours surfaced to shoot down the claims.
Russell was then seen "flirting" with Natalie Imbruglia at the Academy Awards in Los Angeles last year, but their chemistry never became anything more.
