Scarlett Moffatt is feeling "amazingly adult" after buying her first home.
The former ‘Gogglebox’ star has been able to purchase a property in the North of England after her success on TV – including working on ‘Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway’ and dating show ‘Streetmate’ – however, with her busy schedule, most of the time she stays in hotels.
Speaking to the Mirror Online, the Geordie beauty said: "I’ve just got my first house, in the North. I feel amazingly adult. "I try and get home as often as possible.
"Most of the time I’m living out of a suitcase, though.
"I never know what Travelodge I’m going to be in next."
Not only did she get to buy herself a house, but the 27-year-old presenter was also able to pay off her parents’ mortgage.
She said: "I was lucky enough to be able to pay my mum and dad’s mortgage off.
"I think everyone would do in my circumstances.
"I think you’d make sure your family were OK.
"They can chill a little bit and not be as anxious about the future."
It was previously revealed that each family on Channel 4’s ‘Gogglebox’ only got paid around £1,500 a month per family.
Previously revealing her plans to give dad Mark and mother Betty a financially stable future, Scarlett said: "My aim is to be able to by me mam and dad a caravan.
"Cause they’ve always wanted one, but they are like £20,000, and I really want to be able to buy them one.
"And that’s the dream, everyone wants to be able to look after their mama and dad, like they did when they were younger.
"I paid off their mortgage off their house for them."
