Cheryl Baker will never do Big Brother

Cheryl Baker could see herself "getting into trouble" if she went into the ‘Big Brother’ house.
The Bucks Fizz singer is adamant she’d never enter the infamous house – regardless of how much money she’s offered – because she doesn’t like the way people are portrayed on screen and is convinced she’d end up making a few enemies.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "I don’t like ‘Big Brother’, I don’t like what it does to people. It brings the worst out in people and you can’t trust the editing. I like everything to be fair and if I see that someone is being treated unfairly then I will stand up to people. I don’t like to see that kind of thing happening.
"I could see myself getting into trouble basically. I’ve always said I would never do ‘Big Brother’ so they don’t contact me anymore. My agent came up with a five-figure sum that would change my life and I said: ‘Not for any amount!’ I wouldn’t do it. You don’t know what’s going to end up on the cutting room floor."
But the 63-year-old star – who was kicked off ‘Dancing on Ice’ recently – isn’t against reality TV and would be willing to enter the ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ jungle.
She explained: "There are other programmes that are really good entertainment and challenging but in a good way – like the jungle. When you’re in the jungle, the things that you’re doing are for your fellow contestants. I would love to do ‘I’m A Celebrity…’ I was approached one year a few years ago, I was on the shortlist but it didn’t happen. They have to have the right chemistry. You never know. But because I’ve been on ‘Dancing on Ice’, I wouldn’t be considered anyway because it’s another ITV show. "
