Jimmy Carr to get own chat show

Jimmy Carr is reportedly set to get his own chat show.
The 45-year-old comedian is being lined up to front a forthcoming television project, which bosses are hoping will rival the likes of ‘The Graham Norton Show’ and ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’, that will put the power into the audience’s hands.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "The show is in the very early development stages at the moment, but bosses are excited by the fresh, new, concept which allows people to interact with celebrities and get their point of view across. There is hope that it could give some of the rival shows such as Jonathan Ross and Graham Norton a run for their money, as the public won’t shrink away from asking tough questions."
Not much else – including the title and transmission date – is known about the chat show except that the audience will be able to fire questions at the celebrities in order to get the answers to everything they’ve ever wanted to know about them.
Meanwhile, Jimmy recently admitted that he’d love to land a presenting gig alongside Matt LeBlanc on ‘Top Gear’ – even though he has been described as "the worst driver" they’ve ever had on the programme by The Stig in the past.
He said: "If it comes up, yeah, call me! Call me straight away. I would do that in a heartbeat. I think it’s maybe the best job in television."
