Jamie Lynn Spears reflects on daughter’s accident

Jamie Lynn Spears has posted a touching photo of her daughter in hospital on the one year anniversary of her terrifying ATV accident.
The 26-year-old actress took to Instagram on Monday (05.02.17) to reflect on the "miracle" which saw her nine-year-old daughter Maddie’s life saved when she nearly drowned after the off-road vehicle she was riding flipped over into a pond.
Maddie was airlifted to hospital on February 5 2017 and remained unconscious for two days, before she woke up and finally left the centre on February 10.
In a post on Instagram, Jamie Lynn – who has Maddie with her ex-boyfriend Casey Aldridge – wrote: "1 year Miracle Anniversary…. THANK YALL for your prayers during that time, and THANK YOU GOD for my beautiful family (sic)"
It comes after the former ‘Zoey 101’ star – who is currently expecting her second child with her husband Jamie Watson – thanked the emergency services who helped save Maddie’s life in a post on the photo sharing app in December.
Alongside a picture of her brood with the two paramedics named Victoria Ragoonath and John Fortner, she wrote: "The hardest milestone me and my family have ever faced was almost losing our beautiful Maddie.
"Thanks to God and the two angels in this picture we were able to celebrate Maddie turning 9 years old all together.
"This milestone became a true miracle, and we are forever grateful for that. #12DaysOfJLS (sic)."
Previously, Jamie Lynn – who is the younger sister of singer Britney Spears – described Maddie as her "biggest blessing in [her] life".
Alongside a photograph of both mother and daughter cosied up together, which was again shared on her photo-sharing site, it read: "Some milestones we never see coming, but I’m so blessed that It did. Maddie is the biggest blessing in my life so far #12DaysofJLS (sic)."
