Jennifer Lopez thinks her relationship with Alex Rodriguez is "special".
The 48-year-old star – who has been married three times, to Ojani Noa, Cris Judd and Marc Anthony – has gushed about the baseball legend, who she’s been dating since early 2017, and has also given an insight into his "supportive" nature.
Asked what makes Alex the rock in her life, Jennifer – who has nine-year-old twins Emme and Maximilian from her relationship to Marc – shared: "He’s so supportive. I mean, he was at rehearsal with me last night till 1am and after he had worked his whole day, I work my whole day, then we go to rehearsal and he’s like, ‘What time will you be done?’ I said, ‘I don’t know.’ He goes, ‘Alright, I’ll just come over there and I’ll do some work and we’ll go home together.’
"That’s the kind of support, like in this business, it’s just a different kind of business, you know, and so, to have someone who understands it and wants to be there and you want to be there for them, it’s a very special thing."
Jennifer’s relationship has appeared to have been progressing serenely over recent months, prompting speculation that the high-profile couple could soon get engaged.
But the ‘On the Floor’ hitmaker has played down that prospect for the time being.
She told E! News: "I don’t like to pressure anybody for anything."
But in May 2017, a source close to the duo claimed that they were already considering the idea of tying the knot.
The insider shared: "J.Lo wants a future with A-Rod."
And when Alex was asked about the engagement rumours in September, he replied: "Jennifer’s amazing. It’s nice, it’s nice. You’re gonna make me blush now! Now I’m sweating. No, she’s an amazing girl."
