Duchess Camilla wanted for Loose Women

Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, has been invited to be a guest panellist on ‘Loose Women’.
The 70-year-old royal and her husband Prince Charles – the heir to the British throne – visited the ITV studios to mark the 90th anniversary of the Royal Television Society (RTS) on Wednesday (31.01.18) and got to speak to a number of stars of the daytime chat show.
During a conversation with Andrea McLean and Gloria Hunniford Camilla admitted she is a fan of the programme because she loves the "topics" discussed and "banter" between the panel, and now Ruth Langsford has told the Duchess she is welcome anytime to join in the conversation.
Speaking about the trio’s meeting with the royals on ‘Loose Women’ on Thursday (01.02.18), Ruth said: "Camilla spoke to Andrea and Gloria, and she said, ‘I love ‘Loose Women’, I love the subjects and topics and I love the banter.’ I was on the other side I didn’t hear any of that because that was to Andrea and Gloria, I was talking about ‘Strictly’ on the other side of the studio and about Eamonn (Holmes) and his OBE. They were absolutely charming and they made time for everybody … they made people feel very special."
Upon hearing that Camilla was a fan of the ‘Loose Women’ banter, Nadia Sawalha exclaimed: "She didn’t say banter? I love that, if you’re watching I love you for that."
Ruth then added: "We would actually love you to come on ‘Loose Women’."
The 57-year-old ‘This Morning’ presenter also spilled that Camilla is a huge ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ fan and congratulated her on her routines with Anton du Beke on the last series of the BBC One show.
He said: "I got to meet Prince Charles and Camilla and she said, ‘I thought you were brilliant on Strictly.’ I’d heard she was a fan but I didn’t want to mention it."
Charles, 69, and Camilla also met with the stars of ‘This Morning’, ‘Lorraine’ and ‘Good Morning Britain’ and were treated to a special meal of mutton hotpot with honeyed parsnips, cooked by TV chef Phil Vickery, with ‘This Morning’ hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
