Elle King has seemingly rekindled her romance with her estranged husband Andrew Ferguson.
The 28-year-old singer revealed in May last year that she had married her long-term partner in secret, at the same time as revealing they were filing for divorce, but in an Instagram post shared on Wednesday (24.01.18), the star seemed to hint that their romance was back on track.
Elle shared a snap on the site of a variety of sweet treats decorated with pictures of the pair, to celebrate her second anniversary with her beau.
And in a simple caption, she wrote: "2 yrs. (sic)"
It comes one month after the ‘Exes and Ohs’ hitmaker hinted that she would be giving her romance with Andrew a second shot in a separate Instagram post which spoke about making way for "forgiveness" in 2018.
She wrote at the time: "I look forward to a new stage of my marriage in 2018. Not just forgiveness from each other, but moving the f**k on from it… Your grudges, your wounds and battle scars from childhood, your first, and very rough year of marriage, put on your big girl panties or big boy whitey tighties, or both, look at yourself, find YOUR OWN FAULTS. (sic)"
Meanwhile, in May last year, Elle revealed her marriage to Andrew was coming to an end, after they tied the knot in secret just three weeks after they met.
She said: "We secretly got married 3 weeks after we met on 2/14/2016. It was and will forever be, one of the happiest days of my life. This photo was taken today, 5/15/2017. A month after what should have been our big wedding ceremony. My heart is broken. My soul aches. I am lost. He is the greatest love of my life. He is my best friend. As we separate, and attempt to find our footing through life, all I can hope for us is that we both find happiness within ourselves. I love you. You’ll always have my heart. You’ll always be my first husband.
"Please be respectful of our emotions and our space during this time. Everybody thought I lost my mind and I did. So, be kind. (sic)"
