Amber Dowding gets TOWIE axe over ‘happy’ relationship

Amber Dowding has hinted she was sacked from ‘The Only Way is Essex’ because she’s "happy" with Chris Clark and had no drama to bring to the show anymore.
The 24-year-old reality TV star has confirmed that she and her beau are among the seven cast mates to get the axe from the forthcoming series of the programme and, although she’s stressed she has nothing but "respect for the crew", she’s implied that producers decided to drop her because she had no exciting storylines to bring.
Speaking to The Sun Online, she said: "We had a meeting and it was a mutual feeling that it was time to move on. I’ve got nothing but respect for the cast and crew.
"Chris and I are in a really good place. We all come to a time in our lives when you’re looking for what is coming next. I’ll miss the people on the show, I have genuine friends on ‘TOWIE’. Like Tommy and Georgia – they’re my genuine friends. I’ll miss seeing them on screen but I see them all the time anyway. In fact, there’s nothing I won’t NOT miss, but I’m looking forward to what’s coming next."
However, the blonde beauty is adamant the door isn’t closed forever and producers have left the door open for her in case she wants to return in the future.
She explained: "That door isn’t closed forever – there is room to go back but for now it’s not for us. It wasn’t awkward and there are no hard feelings."
And Amber is hopeful that other jobs in television will come her way now that she’s walked away from ‘TOWIE’ – but she’ll only accept challenging gigs from now on.
She added: "If I did more reality TV it would have to be something that pushed me out of my comfort zone. I’d want to face my fears. I’d love to do ‘Bear Grylls The Island’ or ‘I’m A Celebrity…’. Something that would really challenge me."
