Josh ‘JP’ Patterson quits Made in Chelsea

Josh ‘JP’ Patterson has quit ‘Made in Chelsea’.
The 27-year-old reality TV star has decided to step away from the E4 show indefinitely in order to focus on being a father to his eight-month-old daughter India, whom he has with his girlfriend Binky Felstead, but has admitted he’ll always be "grateful" for it.
Speaking to The Sun Online, he said: "We are two very blessed individuals to have been asked to go on that show. Binks did five or six years. I was on it for three years. It’s ultimately got Binky and I to the position we’re in right now.
"I think we’ll be eternally grateful for it but I think it like anything in life as you grow older you start to look for new opportunities. When you’ve got young kids coming into the mix and it’s not about partying and who fancies who."
However, the property developer is adamant he wouldn’t rule out a cameo in the future and has admitted he and Binky, 27, are still in touch with their former cast mates.
He explained: "I think it’s a natural thing, we’re parents now I think the biggest priority in our life is our daughter. As much as we love that show, I think you’ve got to make a choice. I think you make a choice if you want to be on a reality show or be a parent. We keep in contact with them consistently.
"We have many friends on the show we see most days. I wouldn’t count out a little cameo here and there but personally I would not go back on that show permanently."
However, although the couple have decided to step away from ‘Made in Chelsea’, Binky recently admitted that she’s planning to launch her own "mummy-based" firm.
She told BANG Showbiz at the end of last year: "We have a few surprises coming. My own clothing line. I have got a new company I have set up. It’s mummy-based."
