Maya Jama would present The X Factor

Maya Jama would "never say no" to presenting ‘The X Factor’.
The 23-year-old presenter has admitted she’d never turn down the opportunity to front the singing competition because she grew up watching the programme and thinks it’s really "cool" but she’d also be open to taking on a brand new series next year.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "Yeah I mean I would never say no. Like those are amazing shows and they’re the ones I grew up watching.
"So yeah if the opportunity ever came about, I would be like cool! There are so many new shows, obviously there are hosts for those already. Just big entertainment stuff is like my passion. So fun light-hearted shows."
And, although she’s up for taking part in other shows, the brunette beauty believes presenting comes "naturally" to her because she’s been doing it for such a long time.
She explained: "I dunno it’s like the only thing I’ve always done, comes naturally to me, like talking, so I’m super lucky to have a job in it, because like it doesn’t always feel like work. Literally talking to people about fun stuff most of the time and doing like loads of fun stuff. So it’s good, it feels fitting. It’s like my dream job, so it feels like super amazing to be here. But … yeah it feels like what I’m meant to be doing. If that makes sense."
Sometimes Maya’s career takes her all over the world but, although she’s in a relationship with Stormzy, she doesn’t mind being away from home for a while.
She said: "I’ve been travelling for most of my life. When I lived at my mum’s house we used to go away quite often… so we would go away for like two weeks at a time or whatever, quite often throughout the year. And then I moved out when I was 16. So my initial homesickness, I don’t think I’d feel anymore homesick than then."
