Sandra Martin ‘so excited’ for Celebrity Big Brother

Sandra Martin is "so excited" for ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
The ‘Gogglebox’ star has remained tight-lipped on whether she would be entering the famous abode next week when the new all-female series kicks off, but it seems she couldn’t keep it a secret any longer and admitted she’s been asked to take part.
Speaking to The Sun Online, she said: "I’m so happy right now, I’m in a great place.
"I’m going into ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ next week and I’m so excited."
Sandra was persuaded to do the new series by her former co-star Sandi Bogle – who did the show last summer – and she’s hoping to achieve the same success as her.
An insider said: "Sandra is heading into the house – she’s heard a lot about it from Sandi and after Sandi’s success on the show, she wants to try it out herself. She’s outgoing, not afraid to speak her mind and wants to grow her profile, so she’ll be great in the house. Sandi told her it’s one of the best things she’s ever done."
Not much is known about the new series of ‘CBB’ but it’ll hit screens on January 2, 2018, and will see an all-female cast head into the iconic house in commemoration of 100 years since women won the right to vote.
A statement from Channel 5 said: "Presented by Emma Willis, ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ will initially explore how the all-female housemates interact, from politicians to performing artists, as they enter the house first, ahead of the celebrity male housemates. Over the course of the series, as the male counterparts enter the house, the housemates will take part in a series of entertaining tasks and hidden experiments which will test their – and our – assumptions, challenge gender stereotypes and reveal fascinating truths about what it is to be a woman – and man – in the 21st century."
The line up is yet to be confirmed by Channel 5.
