Prince Charles focusing on climate change in 2018

Prince Charles wants to draw attention to climate change in 2018.
The 69-year-old royal has long been campaigning to raise awareness about the environmental issue, and has said his goal for the next year is to make sure people are aware of the "untold horrors" that he believes climate change is causing across the globe.
Speaking to his son Prince Harry during an interview for BBC Radio 4’s ‘Today’ programme, Charles said when asked what one cause he would be campaigning for the most in 2018: "I think you know because I have probably bored you to tears for so many years. I mean there is a whole lot of things that I have tried to focus on over all these years that I feel needed attention. Not everyone else did but, maybe now, some years later they are beginning to realise that what I was trying to say may not have been quite as dotty as they thought.
"But the issue really that has to go one being focussed on big time is this one around the whole issue of climate change which you know, now, whether we like it or not is the biggest threat multiplier we face. Because what’s happening now is what I was dreading which is that we are having to deal all the time with the symptoms that are springing up all round the world.
"They are diverting us off down all these different channels to try and deal with ghastly conflicts and humanitarian and natural disasters and goodness knows what else. But at the root of it all, much of it, is climate change which is causing untold horrors in different parts of the world and of course we sit here in this part of the world so often unaware of what is happening in Africa or the Far East."
And Charles believes it is a "mistake" to rely on technology to fix the issue, as he claims people need to change their "relationship with nature" to make a difference.
He added: "I personally believe the mistake is to think technology, or clever technology, will solve everything. It can solve a lot but it can’t solve our relationship with nature."
