Jason Statham rents London home

Jason Statham is renting a £10,000-a-week London home.
The 50-year-old actor – who has six-month-old son Jack with fiancee Rosie Huntington-Whiteley – is usually based in Los Angeles with his family, and though they already own a house in the UK capital, he’s splashing out on a temporary abode near Clapham Common in the south of the city so he can be close to the set of an upcoming movie.
The luxury property boasts eight bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, five additional reception rooms and a lavish pool area.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "Jason is mainly based in LA but when this film role came up he felt he couldn’t refuse.
"And as he will be spending a lot of time on set, he wanted to be as close as possible to the filming locations near Clapham.
"The house he has chosen is next door to a mansion the Beckhams’ previously looked at renting, and as soon as Jason saw it, he decided to snap it up."
Meanwhile, 30-year-old Rosie previously admitted she often thinks about returning to the UK.
She said: "The Los Angeles lifestyle is so fantastic, but there’s this niggling part of me, every single day, that says, ‘When am I going to come home?’"
And the ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’ actress admitted she wasn’t sure where it was best to raise her son.
Speaking before giving birth, she said: "Having a family is something I think about for sure, and whether I’d live here in America or in England. But it’s not always as simple as that. I have no idea what will happen, but it’ll be interesting to find out, right? And nothing will be perfect, I’m sure."
