Jennie McAlpine places fourth on I’m A Celebrity

Jennie McAlpine has placed fourth on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here’.
The ‘Coronation Street’ star was booted out of the competition during Saturday night’s (09.12.17) show, just missing out on a place in the final, which will see Georgia Toffolo, Jamie Lomas and Iain Lee fight it out to be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle.
Speaking after her exit, Jennie admitted it was much harder than she thought it would ever be.
She told hosts Ant and Dec: "It was so much harder than I thought and everything that I’d prepared for, that isn’t what you need to prepare for. Yeah, the trials and I kept looking at things online saying, ‘Will I be able to do that?’ Not would I be able to sleep in a sleeping bag."
And Jennie admitted she missed her family – her partner Chris and their son Albert, three – the most of all.
She added: "I have been away from Albert four nights I think, that’s it. Just one time in his whole life. So to do three weeks, it was just … I can’t wait to see him. I can’t wait to see him. We had such a treat seeing [our loved ones]."
Jennie can’t wait to see who wins but couldn’t decide who she wanted to triumph.
Asked who she wants to win the show now, she couldn’t decide between Jamie and Toff.
She said: "Toff, Jamie, Toff, Jamie, Toff, Jamie. I can’t!"
Elsewhere in Saturday night’s (09.12.17) episode, the four remaining contestants took part in the famous Bushtucker trial, Celebrity Cyclone.
The celebrities – who won the Celebrity Cyclone challenge – were also treated to a surprise when their family and friends joined them in camp.
‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here’ returns on Sunday night (10.12.17) when one of the three – Toff, Jamie and Iain – will be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle.
