Liam Gallagher loves Noel but wants him to come to his senses

Liam Gallagher has admitted he loves his brother Noel – but wishes he’d "come to his f***ing senses".
The former Oasis rocker has insisted he is no longer fussed about reuniting the ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ band – who split amid a row in 2009 – and despite their war of words over the years, he still cares for his sibling on some level.
Speaking to the London Evening Standard newspaper, he admitted: "Yeah, I love him, man. He’s my brother at the end of the day. He’s just a bit f***ing snobby. A bit pompous. A bit like … some of these c***s here. Though I’m sure they’re all nice people."
The ‘Wall of Glass’ singer is getting ready for Christmas, and he has a special seasonal wish for his brother over the festive period.
Asked what he would like as a gift this year, he candidly said: "I’ve got everything, man … No, I tell you what I want: I want Our Kid to come to his f***ing senses. It’s in him, innit?
"That’s what I want for Christmas. Maybe a couple of s*** review and poor album sales, he’ll soon come round, won’t he? Listen, I enjoy the banter.
"But I’m [not] f***ing arsed about reforming Oasis. I’m quite happy doing this. Just him coming to his senses. He used to be funny but now he’s just … not bitter. Just a bit mean-spirited."
Both Liam, 45, and Noel, 50, have been doing the rounds in the press to promote their new solo records, ‘As You Were’ and ‘Who Built The Moon?’ respectively, but the former hasn’t been impressed with some of his brother’s comments.
He ranted: "It’s ridiculous. He’s embarrassing, that c***, the s*** that’s coming out of his mouth at the moment. He needs to have a long holiday with Bono."
It comes just days after Noel insisted in an interview that his upbeat music with High Flying Birds could be powerful enough to "defeat" ISIS and Donald Trump.
Speaking about the themes, he said: "It’s unashamedly a f**kin’ pop record. It’s about the joy of beautiful women, nights out and nights getting f**kin’ high, and all the things that we live in life.
"All the things that the f**kin’ terrorists hate. I reckon if I went to Syria and played it for Isis, it’d all be f**kin’ over. I reckon it’d even turn Trump around."
