Kelly Clarkson’s husband Brandon Blackstock felt like he was making porn while shooting the latest episode of ‘Carpool Karaoke’.
For the latest instalment of the ‘Late Late Show’s popular segment, the ‘American Idol’ winner belted out the lyrics to her famous songs including ‘Since You’ve Been Gone’, ‘Loft So Soft’, ‘Stronger’, ‘Because of You’ and ‘Whole Lotta Woman’ while riding next to host James Corden.
However, Kelly, 35, was surprised when her 40-year-old husband joined in the backseat and the two enjoyed a romantic date night while James chauffeured them around.
Before her husband surprised her, Kelly confessed she doesn’t get to spend a lot of with her husband.
She said: "It’s difficult because I work a lot and I’m a mum but we try."
The host then said: "I feel like you may need to reconnect somehow … So I thought maybe we could arrange a date night for you and Brandon right now."
Kelly was then asked to go into the back of the car where she was joined by her husband along with a table set out with sparkling apple cider, a rose, chocolate covered strawberries and even a violinist.
Brandon then joked: "I feel like we’re making a porn with all the cameras. There’s a lot of cameras."
The pair married in 2013 after meeting at a rehearsal for the Academy of Country Music Awards in 2006 where Kelly was performing a duet with Rascal Flatts.
Now the couple have four kids between them – Brandon’s daughter Savannah, 16, and son Seth, 10, and their own children, River Rose, three, and Remington, 19 months.
