Nadia Rose promises new music soon

Nadia Rose has told her fans to "watch this space" for new music.
The 24-year-old rapper shot to fame with her 2017 debut album ‘Highly Flammable’ after the success of her singles ‘Station’, ‘BOOM’ and ‘D.F.W.T.’, and has promised she is ready to "come out with a bang" with fresh tunes.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz at the MOBO Awards at the First Direct Arena in Leeds on Wednesday night (29.11.17), Nadia said: "There’s a tonne of things coming. I’m keeping very under wraps about things, cause I just wanna come out with a bang, so watch this space."
Grime was the dominating genre of music at the ceremony and Nadia thinks it is "long overdue" that those rappers are finally being recognised for their talent, but she thinks the wait has "made it special".
She said: "Yeah, a million per cent, it’s been long overdue. I think the length of time is what’s made it so special, everyone has been pushing for something to happen. So, now that it’s happening, I think it makes sense – and it’s only going to get better."
Grime superstar Stormzy was the big winner at the MOBO Awards, picking up three prizes.
The 24-year-old musician took home the statuettes for Best Male Act, Best Album for ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’ and completed his hat-trick with the Best Grime Artist gong.
He posted on Twitter afterwards: "3 MOBO’s, love you all, thank you (sic)"
Stormzy could’ve won five gongs but he was beaten in the Best Song category by J Hus for his track ‘Did You See’, and he also missed out on Best Video, which went to Mist for ‘Hot Property’.
Other winners at the event included Craig David, who was named BestR&B/Soul Act, and Damian Marley – son of the late, great Bob Marley – picked up the Best Reggae Act prize.
Stefflon Don won Best Female Act, while Giggs took home Best Hip Hop Act and Dave was awarded Best Newcomer.
