Katharine McPhee is desperate to be friends with Khloé Kardashian.
The 33-year-old actress and singer has met the reality star once before when she attempted to strike up a friendship with her, and although her advances fell flat, she still believes she would "be a good friend for" the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star.
Speaking to People Now, she said: "I freaking love her, I love all the Kardashians. I’ve met them all. I have legitimately tried to be Khloe’s friend, and she hasn’t rejected me, I think she switched her email.
"Kourtney said to somebody like last week, they ran into each other and were like ‘Khloe and Kat actually tried to be friends at one point’. So it’s like, actually known that I’ve tried to be friends with her.
"I just feel like I would be a good friend for her, that’s all I’m saying."
The ‘Scorpion’ actress would no doubt come in handy as an extra pair of hands to help 33-year-old Khloé in the coming months, as she is reportedly expecting her first child with her boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
Whilst neither Khloé nor Tristan have confirmed the baby rumours, the blonde beauty recently revealed she feels very "lucky" to have found love with her "incredible" boyfriend, who surprised her with a party for her birthday earlier this year.
Speaking on an episode of her family’s reality show, she said: "I’ve never had a surprise party ever.
"We were at dinner and Tristan was so calm. He was as cool as a cucumber. He’s good at surprise parties because I had no clue…
"Tristan is just incredible. I’ve never been this happy. I am so lucky to be with someone that is so thoughtful and so sweet."
The NBA star is keen to be seen as a "part of the family" by Khloe’s loved ones, and she was delighted that he wanted to spend the summer in Los Angeles to get to know them better.
Khloe told her sisters: "I love that Tristan was like, ‘I want to be there this summer.’
"We’re always in Cleveland. He literally can’t [wait to] come here and hang out with you guys. He’s like, ‘I want to be a part of your family and do stuff as a group.’
"He was like, ‘I want to be with your family more,’ and he really wants to hang out with all of us more. We’re going to be here, but we also want a house in the city."
