Jay Z cancels performance in Nebraska

Jay Z has cancelled his performance in Nebraska.
The 47-year-old rapper has decided to scrap a concert, which was part of his ‘4:44’ tour, that was scheduled to take place on December 6 at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, because of technical difficulties, and the artist will not go ahead with the show even with the glitches because he wants his set to be perfect.
Speaking in a statement about the gig, which has been obtained by Omaha World-Herald, he said: "This tour is too important to me to do it halfway. I have to cancel the show."
Not only does the ’99 Problems’ hitmaker want to put on a faultless show, he also doesn’t want to be seen as taking his fans’ money "and run", because he "respects" his loyal supporters "too much".
He continued: "I respect you guys too much to take the money and run."
The technological issue is believed to be the production teams difficulty in setting up large screens for clips of the tour to be projected on.
Ticketmaster has also confirmed the cancelled date, where a guest performance by Vic Mensa was also set to take place.
The site reads: "This event has been cancelled."
And customers are set to receive a full refund, and orders placed online or over the phone will "automatically" be void and refunded.
Ticketmaster added: "Refunds at Point of Purchase only. Internet & Phone orders will automatically be cancelled & refunded. "
Jay Z – who has five-year-old daughter Blue Ivy and five-month-old twins Rumi and Sir with his wife Beyonce – will continue to take to the stage and wow audiences in various sites across California, Washington and Oregon before his tour wraps up on December 21.
