Kym Marsh: Hear’Say reunion is unlikely

Kym Marsh has dashed hopes of a Hear’Say reunion.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actress was a member of the group – which was also comprised of Myleene Klass, Danny Foster, Suzanne Shaw and Noel Sullivan – put together on reality show ‘Popstars’ in 2001, but just a year later Marsh quit due to conflicts with Klass and Sullivan.
And 15 years later, Kym says the chances of them each committing time away from their separate careers to make new music or perform live again are very slim.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz at the Pride of Sport Awards, held at London’s Grosvenor House, last night (22.11.17), she said: "No. I love what I am doing. Never say never.
"I’m not sure that reunion is going to happen.
"I think we are all very busy doing our own things.
"If anyone of us were ever working and resting then maybe, but probably not."
In 2014, Klass said that it was highly unlikely they’d get back together.
At the time, she said: "I just think that at any given point, whatever happens, there will always be two members on rotation, who just can’t do it.
"I think at the moment it’s a resounding no. But I have learnt to never say never."
However, she praised acts like S Club 7 and Take That who came back for the sake of "nostalgia".
She added: "I love the idea of it for the nostalgia. I love that Take That and S Club 7 have got back together. But, you know, what works for some bands doesn’t work for others."
During their brief career, Hear’Say released one album and had four singles including their biggest hit ‘Pure and Simple’.
