Rebekah Vardy banned from I’m A Celeb tasks over fish allergy

Rebekah Vardy has been banned from taking part in the next challenge on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ due to her fish allergy.
The 35-year-old WAG – the wife of Leicester City football player Jamie Vardy – has been ruled out of the forthcoming task Flushed Out – and any future trials involving fish on the creepy-crawly show – because of her life-threatening allergy.
The brunette beauty’s best friend Nicola McLean – who took part in the jungle show in 2008 – told The Sun Online: "Becky is allergic to shellfish. Obviously they are conscious of campmates’ health, so they allergy test you and I know she has come back allergic to shell fish, so they won’t let her do any fish-based activity.
"It’s such a shame as she would have been brilliant at it. I know swimming with fish won’t kill her but it’s all health and safety first."
Rebekah has only been in the camp two days but she’s already proving herself a strong woman as she got stuck in to the Dingo Dollar Challenge last night (20.11.17).
However, it’s thought her enthusiasm may start to dwindle over the next coming days as it’s believed the camp mates will get "bitten to shreds" this week as mosquitoes are set to invade the jungle following a bout of wet weather.
Executive producer Oliver Nash told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Celebs will get bitten to shreds as it’s so humid. It’s going to drive them nuts."
But it’s not just mosquitoes that will wreak havoc for the stars as medic Bob McCarron is certain that he’ll have to remove at least three ticks from their flesh.
Bob explained: "A minimum of three of them will have ticks. It will happen.
"They are my biggest problem. They are OK if you get them off within 12 hours but, any long, you get general malaise and headaches."
