Charli XCX victim of album leak

Charli XCX has been forced to rewrite her whole record after she fell victim to an album leak.
The ‘Boom Clap’ singer had completed her third LP – the hotly-anticipated follow-up to 2014’s ‘Sucker’ – but has had to start over after the songs started to spread around the web.
However, the 25-year-old pop star insists it hasn’t set her back too much, as she is a speedy songwriter.
She told The Sun newspaper: "My email got hacked and people leaked most of it, so I think I’m just going to start again.
"But that’s fun for me, anyway I write fast so I’m not really worried about anything."
The ‘After the Afterparty’ hitmaker said last month that she still has no idea when her new record will be released.
The brunette beauty confessed: "I’m just working on my album at the moment. That’s coming next year. No idea. Could be any date."
However, Charli is confident that she’s in control of her own career and has previously insisted she won’t be dictated to by her record label.
She shared: "There’s always a time working in the music industry where someone’s going to tell you what to do. It’s the nature of the business. Someone’s always above you, trying to tell you what to do. You just have to establish that power struggle.
"I remember when I first signed to my record label when I was 16, I was like, ‘These are my bosses.’ That’s how I saw it.
"Then it only took me two months to realise that actually, I’m my own boss. Not even my own, I’m their boss. They work for me. They’re trying to sell my record."
Charli recently teamed up with David Guetta and French Montana on the EDM track ‘Dirty Sexy Money’, and dropped the star-studded music video for ‘Boys’, which featured the likes of Joe Jonas, Mark Ronson, Charlie Puth and Riz Ahmed.
